Emulex Demonstrates Industry-Leading Data Center Efficiency with its 8Gb/s HBAs and Next-Generation Intel Servers at IDF

This week at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco, Emulex is showcasing the industry-leading CPU efficiency of its LightPulse® LPe12000 8Gb/s Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) family. The Emulex 8Gb/s HBA demonstration highlights the improved host utilization benefits of its Message-Signaled Interrupts eXtended (MSI-X) feature. Emulex LightPulse 8Gb/s HBAs with MSI-X support, coupled with next-generation Intel® PCIe 2.0 servers with QuickPath technology, are ideal for virtualized server or transaction intensive environments, especially those utilizing multiprocessor and multi-core systems. The demonstration is being showcased within Intel's Optimization Lab Community in the Emulex booth #316.
