OneConnect Universal Converged Network Adapter (UCNA)

The EMC-branded Emulex OneConnect™ UCNA product family has a single-chip, high-performance 10Gb/s Ethernet architecture that provides server connectivity for network and storage traffic with multi-function server adapters and are qualified by EMC for use in storage area networks (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) across the EMC® VNX™ family (including the entry-level VNXe™) and existing Connectrix,®  EMC® CLARiiON,® EMC Celerra® and EMC Symmetrix® networked storage systems. OneConnect UCNAs support FCoE, iSCSI and TCP/IP while leveraging mature management tools and processes. By consolidating traffic, the OneConnect UCNA simplifies network management and significantly reduces total cost of ownership (TCO).

OneSecure Host Bus Adapter (HBA)

The EMC-branded Emulex OneSecure™ Adapter is an 8Gb/s Fibre Channel encryption Host Bus Adapter (HBA) that provides high-performance, affordable, hardware-based encryption. and at-rest, encrypting data throughout the data lifecycle without impacting application performance. Additionally, EMC plans to integrate the Emulex OneSecure adapter’s hardware offload processing capabilities into its EMC® PowerPath® Encryption with RSA® as well the EMC® VNX,™ EMC CLARiiON® network storage and EMC Celerra® unified storage systems as part of a complete security solution for Fibre Channel-connected hosts that encrypts data without sacrificing server performance, system uptime or stability for high workload data center environments.

Emulex LightPulse Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA)

Emulex 4 Gb/s and 8 Gb/s LightPulse® HBAs  are installed in the server to provide Fibre Channel connectivity from the server to the Storage Area Network (SAN). They are available in single-, dual-, and quad-channel options and are tested and qualified by EMC, Emulex HBAs are supported with a wide range of operating system environments, including Microsoft® Windows®, Solaris, VMware, and Linux.
