VMPilot™ Virtual HBA Connection for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager

VMPilot brings key capabilities to enterprise customers deploying Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager with Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and Microsoft Virtual Server. Based on ANSI T11 standard N_Port ID Virtualization (NPIV) technology, VMPilot provides a Virtual Port (VPort) connection to a Storage Area Network (SAN). Each VPort has a unique identity on the SAN that works just like a physical port. This provides the benefits of SAN best practices and standard SAN management applications at the virtual machine (VM) level, fully enabling SAN storage for applications running on virtualized servers.
