• Industry-leading throughput as measured with Ixia IxChariot performance tests. Near 10Gb/s Ethernet line rates with more message sizes than the competition.
• Optimization for virtualized servers. HP NC550SFP Adapters are complimentary to HP’s FlexFabric strategy. HP FlexFabric is a next-generation, highly scalable data center fabric architecture and a technology layer in the HP Converged Infrastructure architecture.
• Full support for TCP hardware offloads, including TCP Offload Engine (TOE).
• The same 10GbE infrastructure as other HP Converged Network Adapters (CNAs) that are based on OneConnect. A unified 10GbE platform enables simplified version management and testing based on common NIC drivers, common firmware and boot code, consistent NIC teaming and consistent TCP offload support.
