Bell Microproducts Recognizes Emulex for Exceptional Sales Partnership Efforts

Supplier Tops Its Technology Category in Pull-Through Sales

San Jose, Calif., May 6, 2005 - Bell Microproducts, Inc. (Nasdaq: BELM), a leading value-added provider of storage products and solutions, today announced that it has formally recognized Emulex Corporation for its superior pull-through marketing efforts.

Emulex has succeeded in surpassing all other HBA sales through the world's leading storage-centric distributor by leveraging significant channel relationships, and working in cooperation with the Bell Micro sales team.
