Emulex Advances New HP ProLiant Gen9 Platforms with High Performance 10GbE/20GbE I/O Connectivity
September 9, 2014: HP and Emulex have announced new 10Gb and 20Gb Ethernet (10GbE/20GbE) CNAs powered by the XE100 - Emulex Engine (XE) 100 I/O Controller (IOC) supporting the new HP ProLiant Rack & Tower and ProLiant BladeSystem Gen9 platforms. The XE100 IOC is Emulex’s fourth generation Ethernet controller and boasts a robust and truly differentiated feature set that will allow HP to win in the marketplace:
