The Emulex Connect Ecosystem Partner Program is designed to bring together industry leaders and innovators to foster solution creation, interoperability, technology collaboration, market development and joint marketing initiatives. The Connect ecosystem framework is focused on six core areas:

• Virtualization – Emulex is working with partners on this core technology for server, networks and storage to develop a complete end-to-end virtual infrastructure with tools such as N-Port ID Virtualization application programming interface (NPIV API).
• Data Integrity – Emulex is a leading supporter of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA)’s Data Integrity Working Group and has developed features such as BlockGuard® to drive higher standards for data integrity and protection.
• Security – Emulex has developed encryption and key management integrated with Emulex Secure Host Bus Adapter (HBA) architecture.
• Converged Networks – We have introduced standards-based, seamless interoperability with Ethernet (IP iSCSI, NAS), Enhanced Ethernet (IP, RDMA, FCoE) and Fibre Channel networks and fabrics and switches.
• Target Device Enablement – We are working with partners to develop standards-based communication with specific target devices enabling enhanced capabilities.
• Vertical Segments – Our work on these solutions is geared at solving specific industry vertical segment issues, such as telecommunications.
