Emulex Broadens SAN Connectivity for HP Integrity Servers

HP has again selected Emulex technology for three new HBAs. The HP AD221A, AD222A, and AD393A are new combo cards that have Ethernet and Fibre Channel ports. These new HBAs complement the existing AD299A and AD355A HBAs for Integrity entry-class servers running HP-UX. The Fibre Channel ports on the new combo cards are based on Emulex I/O controller (IOC) 3532 technology.

Emulex HBA Supported with HP BladeSystem c-Class BL860c and BL870c

The Emulex LPe1105-HP (HP 403621-B21) Fibre Channel HBA (mezzanine card), which provides high-performance and scalable SAN connectivity, is now available for all server models supported with the HP BladeSystem c-Class on HP-UX and Windows. > LEARN MORE

Emulex recently announced that its LightPulse family of 8Gb/s host bus adapters (HBAs) are now supported in Oracle VM server virtualization software.
