InSpeed SOC 432 Family Provides Complete Speed Flexibility for Storage System Back-Ends
COSTA MESA, Calif., April 11, 2007 - Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today introduced its new family of InSpeed® Embedded Storage Switches that enables complete speed flexibility across Fibre Channel storage system back-ends. The InSpeed SOC 432 delivers compelling new, industry-exclusive capabilities to storage system OEMs, including per-port speed agility, speed aggregation and native SATA disk drive attachment to FC back-ends, by implementing the recently-approved, addition to the Fibre Channel standard, FC-SATA.
