The Emulex Logo
- The Emulex logo is our principal brand identifier
- To maintain brand consistency, our logo requires consistent treatment and usage supported by strictly adhered to guidelines
- Any deviation from these guidelines must be approved by Corporate Marketing
Logo Elements
- The Emulex logo contains two elements: the icon and logotype
- The term “logo” refers to the combination of the icon and the logotype
- It is preferred that both elements be used together as the logo to best represent our brand identity
- There are however instances when the icon may be used independent of the logotype
- The logotype was carefully designed to create a uniquely identifiable look for the word Emulex and is not a standard typeface or font
- Adequate clear space around the logo must be maintained at all times for prominence and easy identification as well as adequate contrast, for clarity and readability
- Do not redraw or re-create the icon or the logotype
- Always use original electronic artwork supplied by Corporate Marketing to maintain consistency and integrity
- The only logo’s approved for use may be found in the Logo and Image Library.
Logo Treatments
- There are three official logo treatments available for use as noted below – Horizontal, Vertical and the Icon
- The preferred logo treatments to best represent the brand are the horizontal and vertical versions with the logo type
- The icon only is for use only when space limitation in a tactical application prevents the use of the horizontal and vertical treatments

Color Versions
Logo Clear Space
- Maintain a minimum clearance around the logo equaling the space between the icon and logo type, as demonstrated in the illustration below
- Whenever possible use more than the required clear space
- Keep the area around and over the logo clear of all type, photos, illustrations or other graphic elements
- Minimum reproduction size of the logo is 7/8” in height for the vertical logo, 1” wide for the horizontal version, and ¼” high for the icon
