Emulex 8Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs Qualified for Use With EMC Networked Storage Systems
EMC Corporation has qualified the Emulex LightPulse® LPe12000 family of 8Gb/s Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs) for use with the EMC® CLARiiON®, EMC Celerra® and EMC Symmetrix® networked storage system families. The complete Emulex LPe12000 family of 8Gb/s HBAs are now available through the EMC Select program.
Leveraging Emulex for SAN connectivity will help to ensure seamless transitions from 2Gb/s or 4Gb/s Fibre Channel technologies to 8Gb/s Fibre Channel technology. In addition, Emulex's powerful management and automated installation tools will further simplify HBA deployments and administration.
The fully EMC E-Lab™ Tested Emulex LPe12000 family of 8Gb/s HBAs includes the enterprise class dual channel LPe12002 (part number: LPe12002-E) and single channel LPe12000 (part number: LPe12000-E) as well as the midrange LPe1250 (part number: LPe1250-E).
