Dell PT-1016 Pass Through Module by Emulex provides 4Gb/s Fibre Channel non-switched dedicated connectivity for the Dell PowerEdge M1000E Blade Server Platform

Emulex has worked closely with Dell to deliver the Pass-Through Module (Dell p/n PT-1016), a high-performance, ultra-dense form factor, providing up to 16-ports of 4Gb/s Fibre Channel connectivity to the SAN. The combination of the PT-1016 and the Dell PowerEdge M1000E gives data center administrators the flexibility to provide dedicated, one-to-one connectivity between the Fibre Channel HBA ports of the M1000E blade servers and external switches.
