The following benefit programs are available to full time permanent employees.

  • Benefits as a part of the offer

    Provident Fund: EMULEX will contribute to the Provident fund, according to the rules and regulations as stipulated by the Government of India.

    Medical/Health Insurance
  • Maternity Benefit

    MATERNITY HEALTH COVER means treatment taken in the Hospital arising from or traceable to Pregnancy, Childbirth including normal delivery/caesarian section. Special conditions apply
  • Life Insurance

    It is the Company’s policy to protect its employees against disasters caused by disability or death. Consequently, the following insurance covers are provided at no cost to employees.
    • Covers natural death, pre-existing diseased death, accidental death and suicidal death.
    • Every employee has been covered for three times their annual CTC
    • Additional Cover for- Double Accident Benefit: double sum assured in case of accidental death and Permanent Total Disability: Full sum assured in case of total disability.
    • Pre-enrollment medical Check-up is required for every employee whose sum assured crossed free limit of Rupees 550,000/-.

  • Computer /Laptop Purchase Policy (As per Policy)

    Company gives interest free loan to buy Standard PC/Laptop. All full time employees who have completed one month of continuous service in the organization are eligible. Company will grant loan up to 90% of the invoice amount with maximum INR 2 Lac.
  • Loan for Further Studies: (As per Policy)

    Emulex gives interest free loan up to INR 200,000 under Education Assistance Program. It provides for 100% reimbursement of the costs to a maximum of INR 200,000 for the entire course in a calendar year provided the employee completes the course with Grade “C” or better.

    The amount includes the following:
    • Tuition fee
    • Standard required fees (lab)
    • Required textbooks for each course
  • Stock Grants

    All full time employees are eligible for stock options/grants.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)

    All employees with over 90 days of continuous service have the opportunity to participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Detailed information outlining employee eligibility and plan guidelines are distributed to all employees twice per calendar year.
  • Vacation (Annual leave)

    The company provides to each employee 21 paid working days per year vacation credit. Employees are encouraged to take all vacation credits of the current vacation year to be taken during that year.
  • Other Leaves

    In addition to those holidays all employees are entitled to the following paid absence:
    • Earned Leave 21 days
    • Sick Leave 5 days
    • Maternity Leave 12 weeks (for women employees only)
    • Paternity Leave 5 days

Social Security

Statutory Leave

  • Medical Insurance Includes coverage for Hospitalization, Surgical Operations, Petty Surgical Operations and Outpatient benefits.
  • Whole Life Medical insurance includes Hospitalization and Surgical Operations.

    Since medical underwriting is required, actual benefits will depend on the employee’s medical history.

  • All regular status employees working 30+ hours per week
  • Spouse and dependent child(ren) of eligible employee
  • Eligible on date of hire.
  • Coverage to take effect once medical underwriting is completed and insurance company approves benefits.

Life Insurance

  • Inpatient coverage includes hospital and surgical insurance. The daily room and board (R&B) reimbursement is up to TWD 3,000. This coverage is extended to dependents, the cost of which is covered by the company.

Retirement
