Bob Whitson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Embedded Storage Products

Bob Whitson joined Emulex in October 2006 and serves as senior vice president and general manager of Embedded Storage Products. Mr. Whitson is responsible for developing and executing Emulex's end-to-end embedded storage products strategy, which spans embedded switches, routers, bridges and I/O controllers. This product family augments Emulex's strategy of providing complete end-to-end embedded and multi-protocol storage connectivity solutions.

Previously, Mr. Whitson was president and chief executive officer of Sierra Logic, which was acquired by Emulex in October 2006. Prior to co-founding Sierra Logic, Mr. Whitson served as world wide marketing manager of the storage networking division at Agilent Technologies. Bob Whitson holds a bachelor's degree in medical microbiology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
