Emulex Rocks the Fed, Launches New Government Site

moneyThe global economic struggles have led to a series of unprecedented stimulus spending programs aimed to get business moving in the right direction again. Needless to say, IT products are going to be a major portion of the spending to support thousands of programs including new energy initiatives, jump-starting the auto industry and processing all of those new refinancing programs on underwater homes. As a strategic partner, Emulex is working with ourOEMs including Dell, EMC, HP, IBM and Sun to participate in the major projects and contracts to make sure those Obama bucks float our way in 2009.

To that end we have created a new Federal Sales program, headed by Dallas Nash. Working with Dallas has been very beneficial for the entire Emulex team. He has helped us learn how we do federal programs in the right way and maximize the value we provide our federal clients. As part of this program, Emulex recently launched our new Federal microsite, at www.emulex-gov.com to support our growth in the federal segment.

On this site, Federal clients will find:
